摘  要：
In order to relieve the atmospheric contamination caused by shipping,universally acknowledged clear and cheap natural gas becomes an option of marine fuels.This article introduces the advantages of LNG as an alternative fuel for ships and working principles of LNG-diesel dual fuel engine.In addition,this article discusses development status of LNG as an alternative fuel for ships in foreign countries and Chinese Inland River.Moreover,the article analyzes the problem that how to control the emission of soot and nitric oxides.
