Paddy field painting is an art of paddy cultivation which has sprung up with rural eco-tourism in recent years.The paddy fields in Fujian Province are mostly located in Hilly and mountainous areas with superior geographical conditions and good ecological environment.The design of color drawing patterns in these areas are more stereoscopic and ornamental.Since 2016,the color rice varieties selected by Rice Research Institute of Fujian Academy of Agricultural Sciences have been used as technical backing to publicize the culture and brand based on local culture and characteristics.This paper introduces the popularization mode and case of paddy field painting in Sanming prefecture of Fujian Province,which can provide reference for other suitable areas to popularize paddy field painting art,promote rural eco-tourism and promote rural revitalization.
