会话含意理论在英语听力理解中的运用

听力理解是学生英语学习中的难点之一。格赖斯的会话含意理论有助于提高学生的听力理解能力。本文介绍了语用学中的会话含意理论,论述了该理论的四准则在听力理解中的作用,并就如何改进大学英语听力教学提出了若干建议。

摘  要:
Listening comprehension is one of the difficulties in students' English learning. Understanding Gricean theory of conversational implicature helps to improve listening ability. The paper demonstrates the theory of conversational implicature and the application of its four maxims to listening comprehension in College English Test (Band 4 and Band 6) and puts forward suggestions on listening teaching for the purpose of improving students' listening ability.
