摘 要：
Correlation between fertile pollen and spikelet fertility in F_1 of varieties crossed with indica and japonica testers was found to be non-sigificant.It is suggested that for the screening of WCVs the spikelet fertility of F_1 obtained from test crosses be used as a main standard in evaluation of parent compatibility.For a given variety,when its average spikelet fertility of F_1 from crossing with indica and japonica testers significantly higher than that of F_1 from intersubspecific crossing of testers and insignificantly differed from that of testers,the variety ought to be considered as high compatibility one;when the spikelet fertility of F_1 of all or most crosses between the variety and indica and japonica varieties is in a normal range,the variety can be considered as WCV.Eight va- rieties i.e.Wan9024,T984,Pecos,Liuqianxin,Xiushui117,L201,Zhongguo91 and Dourada precoce were identified as higher compatibility ones.Among them,T984 and Zhongguo91 were further identified as WCVs.
