摘  要:
Biocatalytic methods for the synthesis of (S)-α-cyano-3-phenoxybenzyl alcohol--an important chiral building block for the preparation of many high-level activity pyrethroid insecticides were reviewed with 32 references,especially some novel enzymatic processes were introduced in detail.
