摘  要：
The supporting technology of precision agriculture, including global positioning system (GPS), geographic information system (GIS), remote sensing (RS), decision support system (DSS), sensing technology (ST) and intelligent agricultural machine (IAM), were introduced in this paper. The operation and practice of this were discussed. The application prospect of precision agriculture in China was described, which pointed out that the technical system, as well as the cognition and thought mode of precision agriculture would pay an important role in the modernization of Chinese agriculture.
