城市在发展过程中,离不开自身的文化建设,而公共图书馆是城市文化重要的表现,也是城市文化对外形象的窗口。公共图书馆可以让城市文化得以保留与传承,同时也为城市文化的发展提供了强大的原动力。城市文化不断的发展,也会在很大程度上促进公共图书馆事业的发展。公共图书馆应当做好文化的传承与发展工作,更充分的展示出自身的价值,使公共图书馆与城市文化拥有良好的互动发展关系。

摘  要：
Urban development can' t leave its own cultural construction. Public library is the important performance of urban culture, and also the window of urban cultural image, which can make the city culture reserve and inherit, and provide a powerful driving force for the development of city culture. The development of urban culture, also can largely promote the development of public library cause. Public library should do a good job in cultural heritage and development, to show its own value and form well interactive relationship with city culture.
