In recent years,because of the improvement residents' living standard and the diversification of dietary structure,the consumption of mutton is accelerating. The goat and sheep farming has tend to be industrialization and large-scale since 2000 in China. This paper mainly described the general situation of mutton market,and introduced the supply and demand pattern of mutton market in detail,and analyzed the new situation and challenges it facing,then gived the important measures it takes.
