This paper investigated the main influencing factors of microbial enrichment capacity in the growth environment of shellfish in the same aquaculture environment of shellfish and studied the effects of continuous rainfall on the microbe content in shellfish. The results showed that the changes of water quality affected the enrichment of Escherichia coli in shellfish to some extent, but the changes of microbe in the sediment had no direct effect on the enrichment of E. coli in shellfish. The microbial enrichment capacity of Tegillarca granosa was higher and the amount of E. coli and total amount of bacterial colonies increased in shellfish in sunny days after continuous rainfall. During the continuous rainfall period, the amount of E. coli and total amount of bacterial colonies were obviously higher in S.constricta. Especially, the total amount of bacterial colonies obviously increased in the sunny days after continuous rainfall.
