吖啶橙处理吸水链霉菌应城变种获得丧失抗生素合成能力的阻遏突变株

摘 要:
通过活性测定和获得的阻遏突变株,进一步确证吸水链霉菌应城变种除了产生5102—Ⅰ号和5102—Ⅱ号抗生素外,尚能产生5102—Ⅲ号抗生素.采用吖啶橙处理这一菌株后获得的部分或全部抗生素生物合成能力受到阻遏的各种突变株,对进一步研究5102抗生素的生物合成途径和生物合成基因的克隆均有重要意义.关于这些阻遏突变株的获得,究竟是由于与生物合成能力有关的质粒被消除,还是由于诱变引起染色体突变所造成的结果,尚待进一步研究才能证实.

摘 要:
Streptomyces hygroscpicus var.yingchengensis is able to yield antibiotic5102—Ⅲ in addition to antibiotics 5102—Ⅰ and 5102—Ⅱ,which has been further confirmedby means of the determination of antimicrobial activity and the repressible mutant.Thosemutants which are obtained through the acridine orange treatment of the said strain and of whichthe antibiotic biosynthetic ability is partially or totally repressed,are of great significance in thesubsequent studies of both the biosynthetic pathway of antibiotic 5102 and the clones ofbiosynthetic genes.Whether the yield of those repressible mutants is the result of the eliminationof the plasmids related to biosynthetic ability or of induced chromosome mutation has yet to beidentified in the continued research.
