植物环状RNA研究进展

摘  要:
环状RNA(circularRNA,circRNA)是一类经反向剪接后、由3′末端和5′末端共价结合形成的单链非编码RNA分子,广泛存在于多种生物体中,具有结构稳定、细胞或组织特异性等特征。circRNA具有多种功能,可作为miRNA"海绵"调控miRNA表达;促进来源基因转录;通过与蛋白互作参与相关途径调控等。多种植物circRNA的研究结果暗示其在生物胁迫、非生物胁迫及生长发育中发挥重要作用。对植物circRNA分子特征和作用机制的研究现状进行综述,并结合动物中circRNA的研究进展,讨论植物circRNA的潜在作用机制,并提出植物中尚未解决的问题及其未来的应用前景。

摘  要:
Circular RNAs are a class of single-stranded non-coding RNA characterized by the presence of a covalent bond linking the 3′ and 5′ ends generated by backsplicing. Widespread circRNAs were found to be expressed in various organisms. CircRNAs feature stable structure and often show cell-,tissue-,or developmental-stage-specific expression. Some researches showed that circRNAs have been postulated to function as miRNA sponges,to enhance transcription of their host genes,also function as protein decoys and participate in the regulation of pathway. Dramatically increased investigations suggest circRNAs potentially regulate a wide range of biological progresses related to biotic/abiotic responses and plant development. Here,we summarize the features of circRNAs in plant,and their regulatory roles achieved so far. In addition,possible functional mechanism of plant circRNAs is inspired by animals,and the challenges and questions in the research area of plant circRNAs are discussed.
