摘 要：
1997年9月针对南京市东护城河养殖鱼类大量死亡进行调查研究，结果表明鱼类死亡是由于河底富含有机物的淤泥在高温季节分解消耗大量氧气、释放铵氮所致，而养殖鱼类结构不合理也是导致鱼产量下降的一个重要因素。

摘 要：
An analysis of the environmental quality of the East City Moat of Nanjing iscarried out in order to determine the cause of the death of fish. The results showthat too much sediment in the river with plenty of organic compounds has resultedin more NH4+-N and less dissolved oxygen and the death of fish. Measures ofecological engineering are presented to improve the water quality of the riyer toincrease fish output.
