品种推广对中国大豆单产的影响研究

摘 要：
本文的主要目的是回答品种推广是不是中国大豆单产水平停滞的关键原因。为此,我们构建了良种率和品种更新率两个指标,尝试从推广结果的角度评价品种推广对大豆单产的影响。研究发现,尽管生产中推广的大豆品种数量不断增加,但主要推广品种的扩散周期明显变短,而且品种更替不理想;品种更新率低,良种率持续下滑。研究还表明,品种推广是影响大豆单产水平提升的一个重要因子,但不是关键因子。单产水平提升的关键是培育高产出率的劳动节约型大豆品种,并通过有效的推广手段提高品种更新率。

摘 要：
The main purpose of this paper is to identify whether variety extension plays a significant role in explaining China's soybean yield stagnation in recent years. This hypothesis was tested by using two indexes we proposed—the ratio of high-quality varieties and variety renewal rate.We found that,despite the number of soybean varieties available for soybean farmers has increased steadily over the study period,the replacement of major soybean varieties has become significantly inactive over time. Meanwhile,both variety renewal rate and high-quality variety ratio were low and kept declining.Our results also indicated that variety extension was an important factor affecting soybean yield,but it is not the most influencing factor.The most influencing factors to raising soybean yield are likely the breeding of labor-saving and higher yield varieties as well as whether the variety replacement can be improved by effective extension practices.
