The concept of forest city and the general situation of Ankang City were introduced. Using SWOT analysis method,a comprehensive analysis of the advantages( S),disadvantages( W),opportunities( O) and challenges( T) in forest city construction in Ankang City were analyzed. Finally,according to the SWOT elements,the strategies of forest city construction in Ankang City were analyzed.
