家蚕基因组计划于2003年启动,实施至今已逾10年。10年来,家蚕基因组框架图、精细图和遗传变异图相继完成,以基因功能分析关键技术创新发展和重要性状遗传基础深度解析为核心的家蚕功能基因组研究全面展开,并取得了丰硕的成果,极大地推动了全世界范围蚕业科学及相关学科研究的发展和进步。家蚕基础科学的发展,既是新型家蚕品种选育、蚕丝产业改造升级和家蚕生物反应器开发的重要机遇,更是强大的源动力。

摘  要：
From its launching in 2003,silkworm(Bombyx mori) genome project has been performing for ten years. During this period,the draft genome sequence,fine genome sequence,and genetic variation map of silkworm have been successively obtained. The functional genomic research,which focuses on developing key technologies for studying gene functions and deciphering genetic basis of important traits,has been broadly carried out and fruitful progresses have been achieved,all of which have greatly promoted the scientific development and progress in sericulture and other related subjects around the world. The advances in silkworm genome biology provide a precious opportunity and become a strong driving force for accelerating the breeding of new silkworm varieties,the reforming and upgrading of silk industry,and the developing of silkworm bioreactors.
