摘要：

张海秋是中国现代林业教育的先驱者,也是中国森林经理学科的创始人。张海秋对我国主要树种的生长量、发芽率及育苗方法进行了较为详尽的统计和论述,其编撰的教材是林业科学领域拓荒性的教材,在中国林业教育史上具有彪炳史册的重要作用。张海秋对中国文字、音韵、等韵学也有较高造诣,并以坚实的古汉语基础,深入研究了白语的系属问题以及演变发展过程,对白族语言的渊源、系属、演变发展作了潜心研究。

摘要：

Zhang Haiqiu is a pioneer of modern forestry education in China and is the founder of China′s forest management discipline. It makes a detailed statistics and discussion on the growth, germination rate and seedling method of main tree species in China. The textbook compiled by him is a pioneering textbook in the field of forestry science and plays an important role in the history of forestry education in China. In addition, he has high attainments in the study of Chinese characters, phonology and other rhymes. With a solid foundation of ancient Chinese, he has deeply studied the genealogy and evolution of Bai language, and made painstaking research on the origin, genealogy and evolution of Bai language.
