The carcinoma of accessory nasal sinus (ANSC) is rare malignant tumor in domestic animals The first case in sow was discoved in Guan- gdong in 1975 by the authors. From 1975 to 1980,37 ANSC cases were examined on some farms of Kwangtung. In this essay, the shape,colo- r,size, consistency, primary locus, growth mode, growth rate,infiltr- ation, metastasis, histopathological types and histopathogeny of these neoplasms are discribed and discussed in detail.Among the 37 cases of ANSC,21 cases (58.8%) are primary ethmoidal sinus carcinomas,6 cases (16.2%) are primary maxillary sinus carcinomas, one case (2.7%) is sphenoidal sinus carcinoma;and for the remaining 9 tumors (24.3%), we do not know where the primary locus of each tumor was, because the neoplastic tissue was full of all accessory nasal sinuses.Histopath- ologically, among the 37 cases of ANSA,17 cases (45.95%) are aden- ocarcinomas,16 cases (43.25%) are squamous cell carcinomas (two squamous cell carcinomas in situ among these 16 cases),3 cases (8.10%) are undifferential carcinomas and one squamoadenocarcinoma (2.7%)。
