one-day-old cherry valley ducklings were randomly divided into 9 treatment groups (3 duplicates,30 ducklings per duplicate) to investigate the effect of cereal grain composition (3 levels were 100% corn,53% corn and 47% wheat,11% corn and 89% wheat respectively) and NSP enzymes supplementation (with 3 levels of 0,0.025%, 0.05% in 2×3 factorial design) on nutrient metabolibility, performance and dressing performance in ducklings. The results showed that:1) The cereal composition in ducklings diet affected performance and nutrient metabolibility(p<0.05)and thigh muscle ratio in dressing performance significantly(p<0.05).Supplementation of NSP enzymes preparation in ducklings diet improved significantly performance, nutrient metabolibility, dressing percentage, breastment ratio and thigh muscle ratio in dressing performance respectively(p<0.05),and at the same time economic efficiency was improved significantly also.2) Interaction between cereal composition and NSP enzymes supplementation has an obvious effect on CP apparent metabolibility of ducklings (p<0.05).3) Based on the above results,it is suggested that the optimum wheat included in ducklings diet should be about 47% of the cereal grain composition and the optimum enzyme preparation supplemented should be 0.05%.
