The effect of low temperature(8,12 ℃),medium temperature(16,20 ℃) and high temperature(24,28 ℃) on short-term preservation of Chinese sturgeon sperm and egg was studied for the first time. The result showed: Along with the temperature rising, the preservation time of sperm reduced.Sperm could be preserved under 8 ℃ for above 146 h,compared with only 32 h under 28 ℃.The motility of sperm preserved under low temperature(8,12 ℃) was stronger than the others, and had longer quick-movementtime and total-movementtime.The egg was suitable to be preserved under medium temperature(16,20 ℃),while high temperature or low temperature was all disadvantageous for egg preservation.Egg could only be preserved for 4~8 h under 28℃,only 4~10 h under 8℃,however,18~(20 h) under 16℃ and 20℃.
