摘  要：
From the rising of social forestry in the early sta ge to the forming of community forestry,this article clarifies that the appearance of community forestry is a great event of international forestry circles in rec ent 30 years. It is a completely new domain that carries forward the traditional forestry and realizes the joint development with modern forestry. At the same t ime,as a great reform on the developing history of forestry,it stresses the soci al organizations and management functions of forestry.Especially,while our count ry is changing from department-run forestry to society-run forestry,it also enjo ys important practical significances.
