摘  要：
农业教育必须摆脱传统的一次性教育和校园内教育 ,走向开放性教育和终身教育 ,而现代远程教育是满足这种要求的新型教育方式。开展农业技术远程教育应该是都市型农学院——天津农学院的重要办学特色和发展方向。本文还阐述了现代远程教育的概念和基本模式 ,并论述了在天津开展现代农业技术远程教育的必要性和可行性

摘  要：
The agricultural technology must break away from one off education and school education. It should be an exoteric and life education. The modern remote education is a new and suitable form to achieve objects above. It 's an important characteristic and developing direction of Tianjin Agricultural College to advance the remote agricultural technology education as a metropolitan agricultural college .The paper states the concepts and basic mode of modern remote education.It also discusses the necessity and feasibility of developing the modern remote agricultural education in Tianjin.
