Think Aloud is widely used in translation studies to investigate the translation process. Adopting Think Aloud in translation teaching experiment, this study that combined questionnaires and tests on 60 non-English sophomores' is carried out to examine the effectiveness of Think Aloud in translation teaching. The study suggests that observational learning of Think Aloud in translation process can not only provide students with more confidence when dealing with translation problems, but significantly enhance students' competences in mastering and using translation strategies. Think Aloud can be used to innovate translation teaching, making learner-centered constructivist teaching possible and improving students' ability of translation thinking.
