摘  要：
The culture connotation of Chinese traditional furniture was illustrated.Based on the perspective of innovative design of scaled-down Ming and Qing dynasty furniture with tenon and mortise structure,the significance and accomplishment method of design and manufacture was presented.Finally,an approach for communication of Chinese traditional furniture was proposed.
