The study on induction and proliferation of tube bulbs in Lilium brownii.

摘  要:
With different parts of bulb scale used as explants, the proliferation method of Guizhou Lilium brownii was studied with 3% sodium hypochlorite and MS medium having different concentrations of growth regulators. The results show that it is feasible to disinfect the bulbs of Lilium brownii with 3% sodium hypochlorite. Moreover, the sodium hypochlorite was very cheap and harmless to researchers, experimental materials and environment. MS + NAA at 0.3 mg/litre + 6-BA [benzyladenine] at 1.5 mg/litre was optimum for the induction of bulbs, and the basal part of Lilium brownii was the optimum explant. After culturing for 25 days on the same medium, the tube bulbs with characteristically high propagation coefficient, and strong and new roots could be obtained. The survival rate was over 90% for transplantation of tube bulbs with diameters between 1 and 2 cm. The method developed in the present study can proliferate abundant Lilium brownii seedlings in a short time.
