摘  要:
Genomic imprinting is a specific non-normal Mendelian genetic phenomenon that results in differential expression from an allele of parents in a filial generation,and the genetic expression is controlled largely via the imprinted gene-regulated promoters,boundary elements and non-coding RNAs.This article mainly summarizes the characteristics and regulation mechanism of imprinted genes,and reviews the application of genomic imprinting in animal breeding.
