摘 要:
Rice yellow stunt virus (RYSV) is one of the most damagable rice virus disease in Miyi county. The tranesmiting vector for this virus is the two-striped leafhopper (Nephotettix apicalis Motschulsky) .This kind of insect, reproduces 5 generations a year in Miyi county, and almost has not obvious diapause period in winter time. This paper deals with the life cycle of every generation and the period of every metamorphosis, the critical and the effective accumulated temperature for development, and the predication formula for this insect in the natural environment. The predication formula for the period of each metamorphosis and generation (Y) was developed based on the average daily temperature (x) as follows:
Y = 186.6951-5.0239x±5.9215, (r = -0.9848)
The linear correlationship was very significant.
The optimum period, for control of the vector should be in the first and second ten days of January.
