摘  要:
The study was conducted to determine the effect of milk replacer on the performance and blood chemistry of lambs (n=37). The animals were grouped into A, B, C and D and groups A, B and C were fed with milk replacer with different nutritive value, while group D served as the control. Results revealed that the average daily gains of 10-15-day-old lambs were not significantly different between groups A and D, but group D was significantly higher than groups B and C. The average daily gains of 16-25- and 26-35-day-old lambs were not significantly different among the groups. The daily weight gains of groups A, B and C at 46-55-day-old were significantly higher than group D. Plasma urea nitrogen of groups B and C were significantly higher than group A, while the total protein plasma albumin and plasma total amino acid were not significantly different among the treated groups. It is suggested that milk replacers can be used for early weaned lambs.
