This is the second paper of our "Notes", it deals with the tribe Acanthoneuriniof the subfamily Trypetinae in three parts: 1. list of Chinese genera and species, 2.key to the Chinese genera, 3. descriptions of new genera and species. Only the "descrip-tions" of part 3 are summarized as follows:Ortalotrypeta idanina Zia, sp. n. ?. Closely allied to O. idana Hendel and resembling in general form and colora-tion, distinguished chiefly by the slightly but distinctly different wing-pattern. In thepresent species (fig.2), the ground colour of the wing is more yellowish, there is no darkspot on r-m and the apical spot of R_1 is narrowly connected to the apical band of thewing. In idana (fig. 1), the ground colour is more hyaline, there is a prominent darkspot on r-m and the apical spot of R_1 is free. Length: body 6--10mm, wing 6.5--10.8 mm. Szechwan: Omei Shan (1800--2000 M. alt., Ⅵ-1955 & Ⅶ--Ⅷ-1957), 21 ??,24??. Hexamela Zia, gen. n. Arista plumose, plumosity of upper side very long, longer than the breadth of thethird antennal segment, that of lower side rather short. Frons oblong, face stronglyconvex, antennae short, half the length of the face. Bristles tawny, fronto-orbitals 2:2,with the upper inferior pair directing backwards, ocellar bristles minute. Thoracic chae-totaxy arranged as follows: 1 hm, 2 npl, 1 prst, 1 a. sa, 2 p. sa,1 dc, 1 prsc, 2 mpl, 1 pt,1 st, 6 sc; the dorsocentrals situated on the line of the supra-alars; the intermediatescutellars vary much in length, sometimes very short and minute, sometimes longer, ex-ceeding half the length of the basals. Wings dark, with hyaline indentations and spots. Allied to Hexacinia Hendel, distinguished by the arista more strongly plomose, theface very strongly convex, the frons much narrower and the wing-pattern consisting ofonly a few hyaline spots. Type-species: H. bipunctata, sp. n. Hexamela bipunctata Zia, sp. n. ?, ?. Pale yellow, mesonotum with a small elongate-oval black spot on eachside close to the humeral callus, and sometimes a much smaller one on the same longi-tudinal line before the suture. Abdomen pale brown, with the following black mark-ings: a spot on each side close to the lateral margin; two transverse bands on the thirdand fourth segments in male and third to fifth segments in female, the bands of the thirdsegment are smaller and more widely separated from each other, sometimes obscure;fifth segment of male black except the basal third, sixth segment of female with twospots in the middle of apical third; basal segment of ovipositor black, broad and flattened,as long as the three preceding segments to-gether. Wings brownish-black, almost whollyhyaline on the basal third; a small rounded hyaline spot on R, another slightly largerone on R_5; R_1, IM_2 and Cu each with a hyaline indentation as shown in figure 4. Length: body 5--5.4 mm., wing: 5--5.5 mm. Yunnan: Xi-Sang-Ban-Na (1050--1600 M. alt., Ⅴ-1955, Ⅴ--ⅦV-1958), 2??,4??.Rioxa vittata Zia, sp. n. ?. Resembling R. lanceolata Walker in body colour, but the wing-pattern is verydifferent. Yellow or yellow-brown, with the following black markings: a small lateralspot on the mouth-edge; two narrow vittae on each side of mesonotum, the outer oneshort, lying on the inner border of the humeral callus and becoming obscure behind, theinner one very long, extending the full length, in line with the dorsocentral bristles andextending over the sides of the scutellum; a broader vitta on thoracic pleura, coveringthe full length, another on the side of mesosternum and metasternum. Basiscutellumand ovipositor black. Abdomen black on the sides and over the entire sixth segmentand yellow down the median portion of the other segments. Wings brownish-black,with small, peripheral hyaline spots as shown in figure 6, the anal region semi-hyaline.Bristles black, except the upper superior fronto-orbitals and the post-verticals whitish-yellow. Face rather concave. Antennae long, slightly shorter than the face; arista sparinglyplumose on the upperside. Lower superior fronto-orbital bristles situated in or slightlybefore th
