南京地区瓜类花叶病毒的初步鑑定

摘  要:
南京市郊栽种較普遍的瓜类植物中都有花叶病的为害。1956—57年的調查,一般发病率有5—10%,个别田地可达15%以上。每年因此而造成的損失也相当重大。为了搞清病原的种类,为病害的防治研究提供資料,进行了病原病毒的分析工作。由于收集的地区不广,所采样本不多,代表性是不够的。现将初步結果报告于下:

摘  要:
Six isolates of mosaic virus from diseased cucumber (Cucumis sativus), Luffa cylindrica, muskmelon (Cucumis melo), Squash (Cucurbita moschata), white gourd (Benincasa hispida) and watermelon (Citrullus vulgaris) were collected in the vicinity of Nanking. According to their host range and physical properties, they were divided into two groups: those from cucumber and Luffa have wide host range, and the other four are only infectious to the members of Cucurbitaceae. The isolate from cucumber is identified as cucumber mosaic virus, and that from Luffa, owing to its higher resistance to temperature (80—85℃), dilution (10~(-5)—5 ·10~(-5)), and aging (30 days), is considered as a distinct variety of the cucumber mosaic virus. The other four isolates are considered as members of melon mosaic virus, among them that from muskmelon is unique in not infecting watermelon.
