摘  要:
The paper generalizes advances of new insect brain neuropeptide PTSP (prothoracicostatic peptide), which plays a central role in the insect metamorphosis and was found and identified in 1999. The paper introduces its research background, primary structure, function, mutual relationship between it and PTTH (prothoracicotropic hormone), and the results of molecular biology research. The evaluation and expectation were described.
