[Objective] Sludge compound fertilizer is a product of waste water disposal.A prediction was conducted on the damage effect of organic fertilizer on the fertilizing result and iryury action.[Method]Eight different kinds of plants such as tall fescue, kentucky bluegrass, clover, marigold, wheat, rape, spinach and muskmelon are planted in chambers respectively, then a control group was set up and five treatment groups with the fertilizing quantity of 2%,4%,6%,8%,10% were designed respectively. The height of individual, biomass, content of chlorophyll,MDA and dissoluble carbohydrates, relative electric conductivity of protoplasm membrane and activity of SOD,POD,CAT were measured under different fertilizing quantity.[Result] The results indicated that the bimass of different plants increased in different extent after using the organic compound fertilizer;the compound fertilizer does not have negative effects on growth and development of plants under suitable fertilizing quantity.[Conclusion]The organic compound fertilizer from sludge can be used in agriculture manufacture.
