文化际会中女性世界的裂变——对赛珍珠作品中女性形象的一种解读

摘  要：
兼具中西方文化背景的赛珍珠,常常以双重文化视角审视笔下的女性形象,她尤其关注中西方文化交汇中的女性命运。这些女性或在两种文化交锋中遭到毁灭;或背弃传统文化,完全拜倒在西方文化的脚下;或在两种文化的对照中完成精神的涅槃和新生;或成为中西两种文化沟通的桥梁。作品对不同女性命运的展现反映了赛珍珠文化立场的嬗变。

摘  要：
Because of her eastern and western cultural background,Pearl S.Buck often judges the female images through bi-cultural perspectives and pays special attention to the destiny of those females caught in cultural clashes in which they are undone,or kneel at the feet of western culture and betrays their own traditional culture,or have a spiritual nirvana or rebirth,or bridge eastern and western cultures.Thus,the different female destinies in Pearl S.Buck's works show the change of her culture view.
