比较中西方古代城市的粮食供应

摘  要：
粮食供应是城市的生存命脉。古代中国的城市供应与中古时期的西欧城市相比,存在很大差异。西欧的城市主要依赖"农业腹地"和"长途贸易"提供粮食,城乡关系和境外贸易都非常重要;而中国古代城市的供应则主要依靠官府调拔和市场配置,城乡之间没有建立明确的经济关系和贸易联系。两者的差异反映了大一统社会与割据型社会相比较,城市所处的地位不同,城市的生存方式也不同。

摘  要：
Staple food supply is the lifeblood of the city’s existence. The supply to the ancient China’s cities is very different from the medieval western European cities’. The western European cities’ supply primarily depend on the hinterland and the long-distance trade,the relationship between the city and country and the trade of out-boundary are very important. However,the ancient China’s cities’ supply mainly rely on the local authorities’ allocation and the market providing,and there are not the clear-cut economically relationship and the commercial association between the cities arcy the rural areas. The difference between the two sides reflects the distinction of the position of the city and the survival way of city in the unity society and feudal separatist society.
