摘  要：
Iodosulfuron-methyl-sodium is a member of the sulfonylurea group of herbicides.Its mode of action is to inhibit the biosynthesis of essential amino acids in susceptible plants,through inhibition of acetolactate synthase(ALS).The application is for early post-emergence use(both with respect to the crop and weeds)in wheat.The weeds controlled or suppressed are annual ryegrass(Lolium rigidium),wild oats(Avena spp),annual phalaris(Phalaris paradoxa only)and various broadleaf weeds.The synthesis of the herbicide has been introduced.
