回顾了国际地面力学学科的发展情况、国际地面车辆系统学会的成立及发展的情况 ,以及中国的地面机器系统学科从 1 95 1年开始至今的研究情况及研究成果。阐述了地面力学学科的研究内容以及对农林业、工业、国防、交通等领域所起的巨大作用。文中还介绍了 Bekker等人对地面力学学科所作的贡献 ,讨论了地面车辆系统今后的发展方向

摘 要：
The development and main research areas of terrain vehicle systems and the contribution of terramechanics to agriculture, forestry, military, transportation and so on were reviewed in this paper. The contribution of M.G. Bekker and other researchers to the development of terrain vehicle systems, as well as the foundation and the development of the International Society of Terrain Vehicle Systems (ISTVS) were also introduced. The society founded in 1962 has the members in more than 20 countries and is responsible for holding the international and regional conferences. The activities in the field of terrain machine from 1951 in China were also reviewed. The nine conferences have been held by the Society of Terrain Machine Systems in China from its foundation in 1982. Finally, the development of terrain vehicle systems in the future was discussed.
