摘要：

With the support of the fundamental research funds, the central public-interest scientific institution had obtained a great number of achievements, including perfecting the national system of agricultural science and technology programs, promoting the growth of young scientist , supporting the healthy development of modern agriculture. This paper discussed the necessity of implementing performance evaluation on the fundamental research funds in central public-interest scientific institution, which not only played an important role in further optimizing the investment structure, improving agricultural technology innovation, and so on, but also met the need of the development of fundamental research funds.
