摘 要：
Based on a general analysis of the actual situation, this paper deals with the study of the factors effecting the supply and demand system for timber in Shandong Province. According to the econometric theory, a simultaneous equation model is established. The model is suited to the planned commodity economy in our country. In this paper, a new method is used. The calculated results show that the simultaneous equation model has the advantage of being more accurate than others used previously, and is a feasible method to study the structure analysis, forecast and appraise policies in the regional supply and demand system for timber.
