The present paper consists of two parts: 1. on the classification of the Megalo-podinae, 2. descriptions of new species and subspecies. Only the descriptions are sum-marized below: 1. Poecilomorpha assamensis yunnana, n. ssp. (fig. 1) Yellow--brown, with black markings as follows: two on head; three on pronotum,arranged in three longitudinal rows, the median one composed of three spots and thelateral ones each of two spots; two on each elytron, one covering the humerus and theother longitudinal, situated in the median area and may enlarge to occupy the greaterpart of the surface; underside spotted black at the sides of prothorax and abdomen, themesosternum and metasternum largely black except the middle, each of the femora witha spot on its outer face, usually wanting on the front pair. Pubescence black andbrown. Distinguished from P, assamensis assamensis by the slightly larger size, the tarsi darkbrown, not black, the spots much larger, etc. Length of body: 8--9 mm. Yunnan, described from 21 specimens. 2. Temnaspis sanguinicollis, n. sp. (fig. 2) Head, prothorax and scutellum blood-red; elytra pale flavous, with black spots asshown in figure 2, the basal and lateral margins around the basal black spot, including alarge part of the humerus, red-brown; underside orange-yellow, sides of mesosternum andmetasternum largely black, posterior femora with a large dark brown spot; antennae black,the basal segment red-piceous. Distinguished by the head and pronotum coarsely and closely punctate, the latterwith an anterior transverse impression, rather deep, but no basal impression, basal tuber-cles low, but distinct. Elytral punctuation coarse and close at base, becoming finer andsparser towards the apex, where it is very sparse. Length. 10.5 mm. Yunnan, described from a single specimen. 3. Zeagophora (Pedrillia) tricolor, n. sp. Fulvous, head black behind the clypeus, pronotum red, elytra flavous, pygidiumblack, antennae with the four basal segments pale, the rest smoky. Pubescence short,pale yellowish-gray. Third segment of antennae one and half times as long as second, butdistinctly shorter than fourth. Pronotum rather finely and closely punctured, a transversefurrow on each side along the anterior and posterior margins, no longitudinal furrow in front, lateral tubercles fairly large, broadest at the middle of the side. Length. 4 mm. Kansu, described from a single specimen. 4. Zeugophora (Pedrillia) impressa, n. sp. Body rather narrow, fulvous, head, prothorax, antennae and legs black, a narrowtransverse area at the base of pronotum reddish brown. Pubescence whitish gray, fulvouson elytra. Distinguished by the antennae entirely black, the third to fifth segments equalto each other in length, although the fifth is much thickened; the elytra rather deeplydepressed above the middle and the pronotum with a short transverse furrow on eachside along the anterior and posterior margins, the anterior furrows being shallower andless distinct. Length. 3.3 mm. S. E. Yunnan. Described from one specimen. 5. Zeugophora (Pedrillia) yunnanica, n. sp. Black, front part of head, one or two basal segments of antennae and elytra entirelyfulvous. Pubescence of above fulvous. Head uniformly punctate between the eyes; an-tennae with the third segment twice as long as the second, fourth equal to third, or some-times very slightly longer, fifth distinctly thicker and shorter. Pronotum with impressionsnear the frontal and basal angles, the lateral tubercles lobe-like, somewhat flattenedabove, with the posterior edge truncate and making a right angle with the longitudinalaxis of the body (fig. 3). Length. 4--5 mm. Yunnan, Described from 20 specimens.
