摘要：

《食罪者》是玛格丽特·阿特伍德的一部短篇小说,反映了两性关系、孤独压抑、心理治疗等主题.通过细读文本,对作品中的约瑟夫、叙述者"我"及约瑟夫的三任妻子进行分析,发现他们都是食罪者.通过分析这部作品的人物形象,我们能更好地理解作品中人物的生活状况和思想状态.

摘要：

The Sin Eater is a short story written by Margaret Atwood, reflecting such themes as male-female relationship, indifference and ruthlessness, loneliness and depression, and psychotherapy treatment. Through close reading of the text, the present author conducts analysis of characters Joseph, the narrator "I" and Joseph's three wives, and finds that they are all sin eaters, different in character with distinct images. Analyzing these characters in the work will enable us better to understand the characters' living conditions and psychological conditions.
