大学英语口语教学探索——一项基于多模态话语分析理论的实证研究

摘  要:
本研究以南京森林警察学院消防工程专业73名大一学生为研究对象,以问卷调查、口语测试为研究工具,时长16周。研究发现,与传统的教学方式相比,基于多模态话语分析理论的大学英语口语教学方式,能更有效地提高学生的口语水平。同时,该方式有助于激发学生学习口语的兴趣,能够增强其学习口语的信心。

摘  要:
73 freshmen majoring in Fire-fighting Engineering in Nanjing Forest Police College participated in the 16-week experimental research.The instruments in this study included questionnairesand oral English tests.Through analysis of the data,two major findings are obtained,that is,the oral English teaching method based on multimodal discourse analysis theory is more effective in improving students 'speaking proficiency compared with the traditional one;the new method can stimulate students 'interests and enhance their confidence in speaking English.
