摘 要:
The present paper contains the results of our work on the collections of bark beetlesof the genus Cryphalus Er. in China during recent years. The whole collection contains23 species and 3 subspecies, among them 11 species, 3 subspecies and two sub-genera are new to science, and 4 species are new records to our Ipidofauna. The typesof new species and all other materials are preserved in the Institute of Zoology, Acade-mia Sinica. A summary with keys to subgenera and species is given below: Key to subgenera1(4) Elytra with more or less scales in both sexes.2(3) Frons nearly uniform in both sexes, without transverse carina in male. Chitinous spinulae on pos- terior part of ejaculatory duct setiform or absent………………………………Cryphalus s. str.3(2) Upper portion of frons with a prominent transverse carina in male. Chitinous spinulae on posterior part of ejaculatory duct triangular or wedge-shaped, not setiform……Jugocryphalus subgen. nov.4(1) Elytra without scales in both sexes, or at least absent in female……Acryphalus subgen. nov. Transverse teeth-band of anterior plate of proventriculus broader than 90% of the plate width.3(4) Tubercular rugosities of pronotum numerous, centripetal arrangement. Lower margin of frons emar- ginated weakly. Elytral striae rather deeper. Penis more slender, with a prominent dividing-margin between the apodemes and penis body. Host: Abies sp.……1. C.
