摘  要:
This paper deals with the Genus Reticulitermes of Hunan Province. There are 10 species altogether, among them 8 species are already known: 1. Reticulitermes flaviceps (Oshima), 2. R. affinis Hsia et Fan, 3. R. yingdeensis Tsai et Li, 4. R. chinensis Snyder, 5. R. aculabialis Tsai et Huang, 6.R. hainanensis Tsai et Huang, 7. R. lepto-mandibularis Hsia et Fan. 8. R. gaoyuoensis Tsai et Li. The rest two species are considered as new to science.Reticulitermes ( Planifrontotermes) hananensis Tsai et Peng sp. nov.Soldier (Fig. 1-2) : Head length (+ mandible) 3.14 mm., oblong, almost parallelsided, posterior part somewhat narrowed generally, occiput oval, mandible stout, transparent apex of labrum pointed acutely, antenna 16 segmented, frontal region of head with a little frontal hump. The new species allied to R. leptomandibularis Hsia et Fan, but it differs from the latter as follows: 1. Head longer than R. leptomandibularis Hsai et Fan; 2. Antenna 16-segmented. 3. The posterior part of head somewhat narrowed.Holotype: Soldier, Yizhang, Hunan, 1976 V. 7., deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Academia Sinica.Paratypes: Adult, soldiers and worker (locality and date collected as holotype), deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Academia Sinica and Institute of Forestry, Hunan Province.Reticulitermes (Frontotermes) yizhangensis Huang et Tong sp. nov.Soldier (Fig. 5-6): Head length (+ mandible) 2.71 mm., oblong, almost parallelsided, occiput oval, mandible stout, transparent apex of labrum tongue shaped, antenna 15-16 segmented, frontal region of head with a frontal hump, rised prominently above the level of posterior part. The new species allied to R. affinis Hsia et Fan, but it may be readily identified by the length of head (2.71 mm. only, while R. affinis is 3.20 mm.).Holotype: Soldier, Yizhang Hunan, 1976 V. 9., deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Academia Sinica.Paratypes: Adult, soldiers and workers, (locality and date collected as holotype), deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Academia Sinica and Institute of Forestry, Hunan Province.
