李氏禾与水稻白叶枯病及条斑病相互关系的进一步研究

摘  要:
根据国内的研究,水稻白叶枯病及条斑病和李氏禾条斑病是由三种不同的病原細菌引起的,后两种病害的病原細菌都是新种,分別鑑定和命名为Xanthomonas oryzicola Fanget al. 和Xanthomonas leersiae Fang et al.。但是,当时进行比較的限于南京和广州两地收集到的材料,因此試驗結果是否有代表性还有进一步研究的必要。此外,关于水稻白叶枯病和条斑病在国內的分布情况,以及李氏禾与以上两种細菌病害的关系,也有进一步闡明的必要。

Further comparative studies with a number of isolations of the leaf blight and the leaf streak organisms of rice and the leaf streak organism of Leersia spp. from different localities confirmed the results of previous experiments that the leaf streak organisms of the rice (Xanthomonas oryzicola) and the Leersia spp. (Xanthomonas Leersiae) were entirely different from the leaf blight organism (Xanthomonas oryzae). Results failed to demonstrate any direct relationship of Leersia spp. with the bacterial leaf blight and the bacterial leaf streak diseases of the rice. Besides Leersia hexandra, Xanthomonas leersiae was found to be quite prevalent on Leersia japonica and Leersia hackeleii in Eastern and Central China. During the course of the experiments, it was found that he isolation 57-O-722 of the rice from Nanking and the isolation LS-9 of Leersia hackeleii from Hongchow were very similar to each other but they were entirely different from the three species of the genus Xanthomonas mentioned above in pathogenicity, physiological properties and serological reactions. Both isolations were weakly pathogenic to the rice and the Leersia species inoculated. Considering that these two isolations were different from the known described species of the genus Xanthomonas, they should be identified as a new species of the genus.
