根癌土壤杆菌新生物变种的鉴定

摘  要:
1982年至1984年从全国8个省市分离到7种植物上的根癌土壤杆菌(Agrobacterium tumefaciens)86个菌株。通过表型特征比较鉴定,结果表明,大部分菌株分别归入生物变种1,2和3。根据生理生化测定和蛋白电泳结果,毛白杨PO—9、PO—10和苹果菌株M7性状一致,另成一组,其生理生化反应和电泳图谱与生物变种1,2,3明显不同,从而提出这个种的一个新生物变种一生物变种4。生物变种4菌株的主要鉴别特性是:3—酮基乳糖反应阳性;能在37℃生长;在Schroth和New-Kerr两种选择性培养基上生长良好;石蕊牛乳试验产碱变兰色;不能利用丙二酸盐和酒石酸盐产碱。

摘  要:
During the year of 1982-1984, 86 isolates of Agrobacterium tumefactens were isolated from different host plants in eight provinces in China, Comparative studies on phenotypic characteristics indicated that most isolates could be grouped into biovar 1, 2 and 3, according to Bergey' s Manual of Systematic Bacteriology (1984) .Based on biochemical physiological tests and polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis of protein, the isolates PO-9 and PO-10 from Chinese white poplar and M7 from apple were significantly different from biovar 1, 2 and 3. A new biovar, the biovar 4 was proposed in this paper.The main differential characteristics of biovar 4 from other biovars were:3-ketololactose negative; could growth at 37℃:Growth well on selective medium of Schroth (1965) and New-Kerr (1971); produces an alkaline reaction in litmus milk; could not formation of akali from tartrate and .malonate.
