家畜出血性败血病菌与免疫研究

摘  要:
1956年以前的猪肺疫菌苗研究工作已在我所畜牧兽医汇編中予以报导。嗣后我們从事于不同菌落型对于不同种动物毒力的差异、不同菌落型发酵的差异及其交互免疫力的研究,并以牛为免疫动物,均获得一定結果。又作健康猪及牛的带菌检查,也得出一些初步概念。茲将1956—1957年的工作結果报导于后,以供有关方面参考。

摘  要:
1. The aluminium gel adsorbed formalinized bacterin prepared from Pasteurella multocida Fg type of Hongchow strain isolated from swine could be used on swine and cattle for immunization purpose. 2.Twenty five strains of P. multocida isolated from ten species of domestic animals (donkey, water buffalo, cattle, yak, swine, sheep, rabbit, duck, chicken, and goose), and collected from thirteen provinces (Anhwei, Szechwan, Kwangsi, Chekiang, Tsinghai, Kangsu, Singkiang, Kiangsu, Hopeh, Hunan, Kwangtung, Heilungldang and Kirin), were grouped as Fg and Fo colonial types, according to their iridescences of the colonies in obliquely reflected light. Among them, there were 13 strains of Fg type that fermented xylose, but not arabinose, and 12 strains of Fo type that fermented arabinose, but not xylose. 3. Eleven strains of Fg type, in spite of the animal origins, (isolate from swine, water buffalo, cattle, yak and sheep) all were highly virulent to pig, injection of 10—100 living organisms would kill it, but very low virulent to pigeon and chicken, injection of 100,000,000 living organisms or more olny oecassionaly caused a death. Six strains of Fo type from different origins (isolated from pig, rabbit, water buffalo and chicken) all were strongly virulent to pigeon and chicken, injection of 10—10,000 living organisms would kill it, but all less virulent to pig, only a large dose, a million living organisms or more, might kill it. The strains of Fg type were also virulent to white mouse (Fongtai strain), killed by injection of 10—20 living organisms of this type. All the tested strains of Fo type were less virulent to the white mouse, killed by injection of 100—200 living organisms. Both types were virulent to rabbit, killed by injection of 5—10,000 living organisms. 4. By protection test on immune sera and immunization with baterins, either Fg or Fo type only showed a good cross immunity to its homologous type. The Fg type possessed somewhat cross immunity against Fo type. The Fo type, against Fg type, showed only a little immunity, if any. 5. By cultivation of organisms from nasal cavities and larynxes of the healthy pigs, 19 (30.6%) out off 62 pigs carried Pasteurella. By the same method, 69 (26.4%)out off 261 cattle carried PasteureUa. None of the calves examined under half a month in age carried Pasteurella. The carrier rate rapidly arose to maximum (80%) as the calves were growing to three months in age. The carrier rate dropped gradually thereafter. When the cattle were beyond a year old, only a few of them carried PasteureUa. All colonies of the cultures isolated from the healthy pigs and cattle belong to Fo type. They fermented xylose, but not arabinose. This was different to that of the Fo type cultures isolated from the natural eases of the pasteurellosis examined.
