外宣翻译作为非文学翻译的一种类型,有其自身的翻译特点与要求。如何在译文中体现和反映这些特点值得探讨。《云南普洱茶》一书的英译,以具体的翻译技巧和方法,佐以丰富的例句,从译文的篇章结构,避免错译,术语的一致性及文化因素的介入等方面,诠释了外宣翻译特点的体现与应用。

摘  要:
The translation for China's global communication,as a type of non-literary translation,has its own characteristics and requirements.It is worth discussing how to reflect these characteristics and requirements in CE Translation.The English translating work of Yunnan Pu-erh Tea,abounding in examples in which some specific translating approaches and techniques are used,has well illustrated the features and requirments of this particular translation from the aspect of discourse structure,avoidance of wrong translation,jargon's consistency and cultural impact.
