摘  要：
A course of "Introduction of Major Specialty" is offered to the first-year undergraduate students of vehicular engineering. The course assists students in understanding the contents and prospects of vehicular engineering, as well as in how to start their careers. The course also provides guidance to students on better planning their four years in college. We experimented to better teach the course of "Introduction of Major Specialty". Offering this course improves the curriculum of vehicular engineering. It is very meaningful for improving teaching quality in the college to enhance students' capabilities.
