基于规范模因的公示语汉英翻译策略探究——以蚌埠市公示语英译调查为例

翻译模因论从文化传播角度将翻译活动视为语言模因的跨文化传播,规范模因则从"期待"和"专业"两方面向译文和译者提出具体要求,对公示语汉英翻译实践具有现实指导意义。在翻译实践中可以通过复制目的语模因,凸显核心目的语模因,重塑源语模因以及增强译者职业道德素养等策略来提升汉语公示语英译质量。

摘  要：
From the perspective of cultural communication,translation memetics regards translation process as the cross-cultural communication of linguistic memes.Accordingly,normative memes put forwardspecific requirements from the aspects of"Expectancy"and "Profession"for both target texts and translators,which has a guiding significance for public signs Chinese-English translation.We can improve the translation quality by copying the target memes,highlighting the core target language memes,reshaping the source memes,and enhancing translators' professional ethics and skills.
